Senator Ledama questions DP Ruto’s 4 million job offers

Narok Senator Ledama Olekina has on Thursday questioned Deputy President William Ruto’s plans to create 4 million jobs if elected President.

The Senator begged to understand who advises the Deputy President and how possible it is to spend Ksh 100 billion to create the four million jobs.

“We are not stupid how on earth will Ksh 100 billion create 4 million Youth jobs? WSR who is advising you? Hii bangi Mbegu yake iko na uchawi!” Said Ledama.

The Senator continued by saying that the youth do not want free cash but instead want economic enablers which include good roods, access to markets among others.

“What the youth in Kenya want is economic enablers, not free cash! Good roads, access to markets, affordable health care, access to clean drinking water, Tax cuts, and markets protection from dumping from China!” Said Senator Ledama

Deputy President William Ruto who is in a continuous drive in the country promoting his bottom-up approach drew criticism from opponents last week when he called on s** workers in Mtito Andei to form a sacco which he will fund them Ksh 1 million to enable them to run legit businesses.

Speaking after the statement, the second in command noted the women are mothers and Kenyans with many of them willing to switch to different jobs to sustain them. He continued by confirming that he had received many phone calls from Kenyans willing to fund the sacco.
