Kenya Sprinter Ferdinand Omanyala has parted ways with sponsors and sports management company DBA Africa.

The news comes at a time when the sprinter’s name hit global attention to the delight of President Uhuru Kenyatta and ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi.

In a statement, DB Africa noted the role they have played to ensure that Ferdinand Omanyala attained four Olympic slots in addition to winning national qualifications and setting a personal best record.

They continued by confirming that their co-values and visions no longer align thus the reason behind the termination of the contract.

Recently during the Kip Keino classic at Kasarani Stadium, Omanyala shuttered the record finishing second in 9:77 behind American Trayvon Bromell and ahead of legend Justin Gatlin who was in attendance.

The win caught the attention of a betting company who rewarded him a brand new car as he revealed how his wife has been supportive when he was broke.
