Romelu Lukaku is one step closer to completing a move to Chelsea with the striker flying to London before the Premier League side can confirm his arrival.
The former Everton and Manchester United striker is poised to be the most expensive player in history with his price tag valued at €115m.
Once at Chelsea, Lukaku is expected to undergo medicals before the final unveiling set to happen next week. The agreement will see him sign a long term contract with the Blues valued at 12 million pounds plus add ons.

“Romelu Lukaku will be soon in London to sign his contract as new Chelsea player. Work in progress to plan for travel, medical and unveiling next week. After Lukaku, Chelsea will focus on next signing – Koundé always favourite option as centre back but not agreed yet.” Said Fabrizio

The news comes at a time when Chelsea dropped their interest to sign Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund following reluctance by the German side to let go of their star boy.
Speaking on Saturday, Haaland confirmed that he is proud to be part of Borussia Dortmund.
“After scoring an hattrick, Erling Haaland has just announced: “I’m proud to be part of this club. I’m proud of being part of Borussia Dortmund” Said Haaland.
