DP Ruto reacts to President Uhuru Kenyatta’s 2022 plans

Deputy President William Ruto has reacted to news that President Kenyatta is planning to support one of Nasa’s chief’s as his heir come 2022.

In his first reaction, the second in command questioned what will happen to the hustlers in the country who voted for him and the President for a better Kenya.

The Deputy President was referring to his previous sentiments calling for a free and fair election and allow Kenyans of all walks of life decide who will be their next President.

Ruto has been vocal about the need to have the lives of poor Kenyans uplifted as his Hustler slogan has changed the political arena and taken over areas in Central Kenya.

Already leaders in Central Kenya are contemplating to back his Presidential bid following wrangles with the Jubilee Party that led to the formation of the United Democratic Alliance (UDA).

UDA has vowed to spread its agenda across the country and welcome Kenyans of all walks of life, unlike other political parties who are rooted in some regions.

Former Nasa Principals Senator Moses Wetangula, Musalia Mudavadia and Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka have been advised to join ODM Party leader Hon. Raila Odinga if they want to remain relevant in politics.

Musalia Mudavadi has played down talks to revive the Nasa coalition citing deep rooted trust issues that are irreversible. Hon. Raila Odinga has hinted of its revival as 2022 politics gain momentus.
