The son of former Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu has been Charged and fined by a court after he was arrested Driving under the influence of alcohol.
Brian Ndung’u Waititu was on Monday presented before a court where he pleaded guilty of driving under the influence as the judge slapped him with a Ksh 30,000 fine.

The former Governor’s son who was arrested at Muindi Mbingu street driving a Toyota Probox will face 3 months in prison if he fails to raise the fine.
Speaking before senior principal magistrate Esther Kimilu, Brian Ndung’u Waititu pleaded for mercy citing that he is a first time offender.
In response to the request, the Magistrate charged Brian with Ksh 30,000 and a three-month jail sentence.
