Over 10 people are feared dead after a truck driver lost control along the Busia-Malaba highway.
Among those knocked down were hawkers stationed by the roadside along the busy highway.
This not the first accident to occur in the area which has been marked as a black spot as road users advised to exercise caution.

Ambulance crashes along Gilgil-Olkalau road killing two
The news comes at a time when a medic is among two people who died on the spot when an ambulance they were in crashed along the Gilgil-Olkalau highway.
It is reported that the accident happened when the Nyahururu based ambulance was returning home from Nairobi where it had taken a patient for treatment.
The Driver crashed alongside the road killing the driver and medical officer on the spot.
