Tindu Lissu finally lands at JNIA, Dar es Salaam

CHADEMA presidential aspirant Tindu Lissu has finally landed at the Julius Nyerere International Airport this afternoon.

The politician was making his return to Tanzania after a three-year stay in Belgium when he had gone to sort medical attention.

Thousands of his supporters turned up at the airport to receive him despite a police warning terming the gathering illegal.

In 2017, Tindu Lissu was attacked by unknown assailants who sprayed him his car with only 16 of them hitting his body parts.

Now that he is in the country, he is expected to battle for the Presidential seat with Presiden John Magafuli.

Magufuli has gathered enough support for himself most of which comes from the youth and allied politicians.

A motion was about to be tabled before the parliament to force him to rule for an indefinite period of time.

The legislators claim the recent steps taken by the President including the fight against coronavirus is unmatched in the world.
