Maguire late strike sends Man Utd into FA semi-finals

Manchester United went through to FA cup semi-finals thanks to a late striker by England defender Harry Maguire.

Ole Solskjaer’s boys had to fight for the victory after Ighalo’s goal was canceled by Cantewell nineteen minutes to the end of normal time.

The visitors could not find the back of the net even after introducing five substitutes to overturn the results.

In the 89th minute, Ighalo was brought down by Timm Klose before the Norwich defender was sent off for holding offense.

The results hand the Red Devils a chance to life the cup once again since 2016 before running into some poor strings or results there after.

Both sides came into the match with lack of pace but it was a Luke Shaw cross to Juan Mata that was cleverly clipped past Tim Crul for United’s first goal.

It was the fifth goal for the on loan forward extending his on form performance since his arrival at the club.

The visitors fell back afterwards allowing the home team to attack and eventually leveled things in the 71st minute.
