Disappointing. I was expecting more from this Book. I felt the background story didn’t tie in.

I did not see the love between Pearl and Charles.

Patrick and Mel were ok  but Bland.

Mel was just bland as a character. I didn’t really feel anything from her at all.

Bella was so stereotypical I just rolled my eyes.

All the characters stories were just so 2D no depth at all.

And also, was anyone actually buried in the garden? I might has missed it because I didn’t really engage with this book.
