15 Most Interesting Youtube Channels

Youtube is without a doubt part of daily life for most of us. In its short history it turned into a huge media outlet that is competing with traditional media companies. There are creators on Youtube that attract higher number of viewers than the most viewed TV shows. It is not uncommon to find Youtube channels over 10 million subscribers, and some videos well over a 100 million views.

If we continue the TV analogy, we can consider Youtube channels as TV channels, and their videos as TV shows. The main difference is that you can pick and choose what and when do you want to watch. And there are millions of “TV shows” on Youtube, so it’s hard to miss some of the most interesting ones. We collected our favorites, the Youtube channels that we really watch, and think are some of the most interesting ones out there.

1. Casey Neistat

Subscribers: 12 million

Casey is one of the first vlogger on Youtube, who revolutionized the genre. For one and a half year he posted a vlog every day, which is an impressive accomplishment considering the quality of his videos. During this time his Youtube following blew up and he became one of the most important Youtuber.

He has a unique way of telling stories, but his videos never seemed to be the same, even if there were only 24 hours between creating them. Casey always said he is a filmmaker, not a Youtuber, he just uses Youtube as an outlet of his short movies. He’s often told inspiration stories on the channel and shared his perspective about the world. The topics he covered were based around his life, maybe that’s what made him so likable.

3. First We Feast -- Hot Ones

Subscribers: 8.7 million

First We Feast is an online food magazine by Complex Media, which started a Youtube channel in 2014. The next year they started a series called Hot Ones, where they would interview celebrities while eating ten chicken wings, each hotter than the one before. As the show grew bigger, they managed to get top celebrities as guests.

The show is hosted by Sean Evens, who also eats the wings with the guests. His interview style was complemented by many guests and is one of the appeals of the show. He and his producer research every guest extensively and come up with relevant, but unique questions that really makes the celebs think. Adding that to the wings covered in the hottest sauces available creates an amusing and very entertaining show.
