Google in partnership with TechValley and the Institute of Rural Management (IRM) has officially launched Google Career Certificates 2.0 Scholarship Program in Pakistan. Yes, you heard it right! Google announces 44,500 scholarships to Pakistani youth who want to learn in-demand IT skills and earn good money.
The Google Career Certificates 2.0 is an updated version of the Google Career Certificates program, which is a set of online courses designed to provide individuals with the skills and knowledge needed to pursue a career in a high-demand field.
The event occurred in Islamabad where the Federal Minister for IT and Telecommunication Syed Amin Ul Haque and other key figures from the government and the IT sector were present.
The Google Career Certification program was launched in Pakistan last year. In the first phase, 6 courses were introduced in the fields of IT support, Project management, Data analysis, UX design, IT automation, and Digital marketing & E-commerce were offered.
The duration of these courses is 3 to 6 months and can be easily done online at home. Each course includes a mix of video lectures, interactive assessments, and hands-on projects that allow learners to apply what they have learned in a real-world context.
According to the Federal Minister for IT and Telecommunication, more than 40,000 applications were received in the first phase where 15,000 people were registered in various courses, and after completion of the courses, certificates were also given to them.
The Google Career Certificates 2.0 which is the second phase is now launched and the Google has announced another 44,500 scholarships to be given to the people of Pakistan. In this phase, 3 new more in-demand courses have been added including:
1) Business intelligence
2) Advanced data analytics
3) Cyber security
Federal Minister Syed Aminul Haq further said that this time certificates will be issued to 44,500 people in 9 courses which are extended from 15,000 to 44,500 and the process will be completed by December this year. These courses are completely free and can be easily done online at home.
All those students, job holders, or jobless people who have completed their matriculation, intermediate graduation, or more education are illegible to enroll in the Google Career Certifications program.

Enter your details and complete your registration process as per the instructions.
A few days after registration you will receive a confirmation email after which the online courses process will begin.
A course has different modules and a certificate will be issued on completion of each module and a separate certificate will be issued on completion of the course which will be valid for a period of 3 years.
