Diode Laser Versus IPL Hair Removal: Results and Experience.

I tried IPL and Diode laser Hair removal at The Boca Institute of Dermatology in Boca Raton, FL. It hurts but it works amazingly well and is worth it! On some areas it’s painless- it depends on how close you’ve shaved and how course the hair is. In my previous Post on Hair-Removal Types, I discussed the pain level of IPL, but in this video and post we’re comparing IPL to Diode Laser Hair Removal.
I told myself if I could sit through a tattoo I could get laser hair removal done…wrong! I wanted to do my facial hair below the jaw to the neck, because shaving gives me horrible ingrown hairs which looks like acne. Although I shaved, the stinging and burning made me flinch and move: it felt like multiple dots of flesh being burnt or pierced as the stubble was singeing…and I couldn’t really sit through the session.
I decided to see if it was any different on my arm, and it was painless in most areas except for the occasional burn. I haven’t seen regrowth in The properly treated areas, but there were a lot of hairs that were missed, something overcome with consistent treatments and follow-ups.  By my third treatment, you’ll see 97% permanent hair reduction!

Laser Hair Removal Results

1st Treatment: In these photos of my arm you can see that on the third day, hairs regrew in sporadic areas. it’s been a week or longer and some still aren’t growing back, perhaps there’s a 20-30% reduction.

On my facial hair I just noticed areas where the hair hasn’t regrown but appears as dots…I’d say that in that much more painful area we see 33-40% reduction of hair regrowth! now you can see my motivation for treating this area…
