• Make sure your device is connected to the internet.
• Tap Library.
• Find the movie or TV episode you want to download.
• Tap Download Download.

Tip: If you remove a rented video from a device, you can download and watch it on another device.

Download Movies And videos with mobile data

Important: If you download videos with mobile data, you may receive additional charges from your carrier.

• On your device, open Google Play Movies & TV Play Movies.
• At the top, tap Menu Menu or your profile picture.
• Tap Settings.
• Under “Downloads,” tap Network and then Download on any network.

How To Delete a downloaded video & movie 

• On your device, open Google Play Movies & TV Play Movies.
• Next to a downloaded video, tap the Check Mark Downloaded and then Remove.

Buy, rent, & watch movies & TV shows

You can buy, rent, or create a list of movies and TV shows you want to watch with Google Play Movies & TV Play Movies.

Sign in to a different account

• Open Google Play Movies & TV Play Movies.
• At the top, tap Menu Menu or your profile picture.
• To switch to another account, tap the Dropdown Arrow Down arrow.
• If another account is listed: Tap it to use that account.
• To add another account: Tap Add another account and follow the instructions.

Check movies & TV shows you own

You can find the videos you rented or purchased on your device.

• Open Google Play Movies & TV Play Movies.
• Tap Library.
• Select Movies or TV shows.
• You can sort by title, date added, or year released.
• To play a movie or TV show, select the item and tap Play Play.

Tip: The video quality adjusts automatically based on your internet connection.

Watch movies & TV shows from your streaming apps

You can watch movies and TV shows from your streaming services on Android devices with the Google TV app .

To find content from streaming apps, you need app version 4.15 or higher. 

Manage or add your streaming services

• Open the Google TV app .
• At the top, tap your profile picture and then Manage services.
• Select the services you want to add. If a service isn’t listed, it doesn’t work with this feature.
• Tap Next.

Find movies or TV shows

• Open the Google TV app .
• Search for a movie or TV show you want to watch.
• Choose a streaming app.
• Tap Watch. The movie or TV show will play from the streaming app.
• Tap Done.

Tip: If the movie or TV show requires a subscription, you must sign in or sign up for that service. If the app isn't installed on your device, you'll be prompted to install it from Google Play.
