Project Redefine marked the initiation of Stride, an annual endeavour by the Rotaract Club of SLIIT dedicated to moulding future professionals. Redefine, conducted on December 11, 2023, at myBIZ Guarantee LTD from 8:30 a.m. onwards, aimed to empower participants with enhanced communication skills and refined personal branding.
The distinguished resource person for this transformative occasion was none other than Dr. Cary Gourlston, the esteemed President of Global Pioneers and International Educators Association.
The inaugural session of Redefine delved into the realms of communication and life skills. Participants were imparted with practical tips to elevate their communication abilities and master the art of time management. Dr. Gourlston led an informative discussion on self-analysis and the continuous journey of self-improvement. The interactive format of the session encouraged both the speaker and participants to openly share real-life experiences, fostering a dynamic learning environment. The session spanned one and a half hours, after which an engaging Q&A session took place for an additional half hour.
Following a brief intermission, Session 2 commenced, focusing on the crucial aspect of personal branding. Attendees were enlightened on crafting a distinct professional identity and leaving an indelible mark in the competitive world of work. The comprehensive one-and-a-half hours of discussion concluded with another enlightening Q&A session, where Dr. Gourlston offered valuable advice tailored to the audience’s queries.
The six-hour immersive experience of Project Redefine left participants equipped with invaluable insights to refine themselves into professionals capable of effectively branding themselves in the fiercely competitive job market.
Through this annual initiative, the Rotaract Club of SLIIT strives to empower individuals to navigate the professional landscape with confidence and competence.
