Aphrodite and the Miracle of the mingled teardrop

A new day dawned in Olympia. As the day began, Aphrodite strolled into the garden, inhaling the fragrance of blooming flowers and relishing the touch of grass beneath her fingers. Suddenly, Aphrodite was interrupted by the sound of a goddess weeping. None other than Hera.

In an instant, a dry wind swept across Olympia and the earth alike. Flowers cascaded from their branches, and the grass withered within seconds. Aphrodite sensed that something was wrong. So she opened a space portal and went to Zeus’s temple in Athens. She saw a scene of devastation when she arrived. Both Earth and Olympia had turned arid.

Aphrodite asked the mortals at the temple for answers, but they didn’t know what had happened. Then Hermes appeared in Zeus’s temple and revealed that a demon disguised as a woman had tricked Hera into believing she had conceived a child with Zeus. This broke Hera’s heart and caused suffering in the world. Hades had hatched this sinister plot.

Aphrodite responded, “This is a crime against love. I am confident about how to rekindle Hera and Zeus’s bond. I will orchestrate a plan. By having them consume the golden apple of Olympia, infused with eternal memory, they will remember the depth of their affection for each other. Meanwhile, I implore all of you to sing songs that celebrate Zeus and Hera’s love and devotion.

Everyone agreed. Then Aphrodite ventured to Olympia,  persuading royal couple to embark on a magical  seashell-like vehicle of her creaEon. Suspended above  Olympia, Aphrodite employed her charms, urging them  to consume a piece of the golden apple she had  retrieved. Succumbing to her enchantment, Zeus and  Hera consumed the apple.

As the songs of love and the golden apple worked their  magic, Zeus and Hera’s memories of their love for each other resurfaced. Aphrodite then revealed the sinister ploy devised by Hades to orchestrate the world’s downfall from the shadows of the underworld

Learning of this deceit, Hera’s tears flowed. She leaned  onto Zeus, confessing, “I had feared you betrayed me.”  Zeus reassured her and gently kissed her forehead,  their tears mingling.

Aphrodite cupped their tears in her hands. With a  reverent gesture, she let their combined tears fall atop  the mountain peaks. In the wake of this act, the  Olympian mountains underwent a metamorphosis.  Springs gushed from the earth, breathing life back into  Olympia and Earth, resurrecEng their vitality within  moments.
