Behind this role is a man who is the embodiment of kindness and compassion, our International Service Director for the RI year 2023-2024, Rtr. Jayod Perera!

As the International Service Director, Jayod makes it his mission to explore, understand, and serve diverse communities worldwide. International service is not just a phase, it is a way of life for Rtr. Jayod. He and his fellow Co- Director, Rtr. Sansika, crafts initiatives that transcend language barriers and cultural differences, starting from humanitarian missions to educational programs. Their projects have a common thread: a commitment to making the world a better place. Through cultural exchanges, international partnerships, and fostering cross-cultural understanding, they bridge divides and create a sense of unity that knows no borders.

Silent but genuine, Jayod is an ambassador of compassion. He is a person who cares deeply about the well-being of others, and he is always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. His kindness and empathy are qualities that are evident in everything he does, from the way he interacts with his friends and family to the way he approaches his work. While their focus is global, the International Service Director recognizes the importance of fortifying the Rotaract community at home. Their projects enrich the fabric of Rotaract clubs, fostering a sense of global connection among members and inspiring them to contribute to a world beyond their immediate surroundings, inspiring our club members to become global citizens who embrace diversity and stand up for those in need.
