Kaavya Raigambandarage.

Adamant her name is spelt with two As, Kaavya is loved as she is eccentric, kind as she is firm, and jovial as she is demanding. She is the epitome of controversies all blended into one and handles a large part of the club’s activities with effortless grace and poise. Her seamless integration with all members of the Club and her never-ending passion to always do the best she can shine through.

She stands side-by-side with her co-assistant secretary, Rtr. Sulakna Weerasinghe. From scheduling meetings to arranging logistics, they work tirelessly to ensure that every aspect of the club’s functioning aligns flawlessly. Kaavya stands at barely 5 feet and is comparatively tiny behind our Rtr. Nivasheni Balenthiran, but dear readers, she is a whirlwind behind a computer and ensures that no task is left unattended and that all members are kept informed of the happenings of the club.

She is one of the bridges that stand between the members and the club’s top board, serving as a voice of unity, and her kindness fosters a strong sense of belonging and acceptance between its members, ensuring that every single member of the club is valued and heard. It is her genuine care for each member that creates a welcoming and nurturing environment, inspiring every individual to reach their full potential as compassionate leaders. The Assistant Secretary of a Rotaract Club may work quietly in the background, but their impact on the organisation’s success and harmony is beyond profound.
