A new dawn breaks through the horizon, Lighting the sky up in hues of grey and purple, lighting up a silent bungalow. A fresh breeze blows in from that far line of purple, bringing with her the excitement and promise of a new day. She silently moves through the quiet house, laughs to herself remembering a cacophony that lasted through the wee hours of the night. She giggles as she blows life back into the sleepy faces and lethargic minds and she moves through, greeting each member, reminding them of their duties, and laughing gently as she leaves them with the beauty of sun rising through a lighting sky.

Under the Sun’s welcoming gaze, the Board members gathered in a meeting room, their creativity bound and restless, waiting to be unleashed as the day wore on. Armed with notepads and markers, they engaged in a series brainstorming sessions that involved report writing, deadlines with a heavy influence of laughter and joy, bound in place with solemn duty. The room buzzed with energy as innovative ideas, bold initiatves, and transformative projects began to take shape.  

Our head board comprised of seasoned mentors who had once walked the similar paths, who were ever-ready to share their wisdom and experiences as guiding lights for the new board of officials. Through interactive workshops and intimate discussions, the mentors shared invaluable insights on leadership, decision-making, and community engagement, igniting sparks of inspiration that would guide the officials throughout their tenure.

But wait, there was more a-coming! The day held so much for the unsuspecting new board of officials; shouts of laughter, screams of joys, bouts of strangely intense scrutiny followed by scavenger hunts filled of crossword puzzles, jumping into pools, encouraging social media posts, and a guaranteed time of their lives. The head board, who had organised the events, observed with growing pride as each member tackled on new problems and found solutions to each one, all without an ounce of bad blood between them.

 In an exercise of goodwill and a little bit of gardening, the new board of officials planted a coconut tree, symbolising the start of a wonderful year and a brand new journey. It is with that a deep sense of familiarity that they would recall these luminous memories , which would be the stepping stones that would fuel their efforts to create a positive impact and leave a lasting legacy of service.

This was more than just an overnight educational exercise; it was a transformative journey that kindled the flames of leadership, collaboration, and inspiration. Under a starlit canopy, amidst laughter and contemplation, the new Board Members forged friendships that would last a lifetime, and it is with newfound passion and commitment would they return to the world to start their acquired duties. Guided by the magic of camaraderie and fellowship, the stage was set for a new era of transformation.
