About MS Dhoni

MS Dhoni is a retired Indian cricketer and former captain of the Indian national team. He is considered one of the greatest cricketers in the history of the game and is known for his aggressive captaincy and cool demeanor under pressure. He has led India to numerous victories in international tournaments, including the 2007 ICC World Twenty20, the 2010 and 2016 Asia Cups, and the 2007-2008 and 2016-2017 Border-Gavaskar Trophies. He announced his retirement from international cricket in August 2020.




About MS Dhoni's Life

MS Dhoni, also known as Mahendra Singh Dhoni, was born on July 7, 1981 in Ranchi, Bihar (now in Jharkhand), India. He grew up in Ranchi and attended school at DAV Jawahar Vidya Mandir. As a child, he was interested in sports and played Cricket, football, and badminton. He was a goalkeeper for his football team and a forward for his hockey team.

Dhoni began his cricket career playing for the Bihar cricket team, and then moved on to play for the Jharkhand cricket team. He made his international debut in December 2004, and quickly established himself as a key player for India in both One Day Internationals (ODIs) and Twenty20 matches. In 2007, he was appointed captain of the Indian cricket team and led India to victory in the 2007 ICC World Twenty20 and the 2010 and 2016 Asia Cups. He also led India to the number one ranking in Test cricket for the first time in 2009.

Under his captaincy, India reached the final of the 2011 Cricket World Cup, where they lost to Sri Lanka. He also led India to the semi-final of the 2007 Cricket World Cup, and the semi-final of the 2013 Champions Trophy.





MS Dhoni has many records to his name like he is the only captain to have led India to victory in all ICC trophies (T20 World Cup, ODI World Cup and Champions Trophy), he is the only Indian captain to have led India to more than 50 wins in T20I.

He retired from international cricket in August 2020, but continues to play in domestic leagues, such as the Indian Premier League (IPL) for Chennai Super Kings. He is considered one of the greatest cricketers of all time and one of the most successful Indian cricket captains.

MS Dhoni is married to Sakshi Singh Rawat, whom he met while studying at Jawahar Vidya Mandir in Ranchi, Jharkhand. They got married in 2010. They have one child, a daughter named Ziva. MS Dhoni comes from a middle-class family, his father Pan Singh worked in junior management positions in MECON, his mother Devaki Devi is a housewife. He has a younger brother named Narendra Singh Dhoni.

About MS Dhoni's IPL Matches Played

MS Dhoni is a former captain of the Indian Premier League (IPL) team Chennai Super Kings (CSK). He led CSK to victory in the IPL three times (2010, 2011, 2018) and in the Champions League Twenty20 twice (2010, 2014). He is also considered one of the most successful captains in the history of the IPL, with the most wins as captain (93) and the most appearances as captain (190). He is also the only captain to have led a team to the IPL final more than once. He has been a part of CSK since the inception of IPL and played for them till 2020, he took a break from IPL in 2021 and will be back to lead CSK in 2022.



MS Dhoni is widely considered one of the coolest and most successful captains in the history of cricket. He led the Indian national team to numerous victories, including the 2007 ICC World Twenty20, the 2010 and 2016 Asia Cups, and the 2007-08 and 2016-17 Border-Gavaskar Trophies. He is known for his calm and composed demeanor on the field and his ability to make quick and decisive decisions.
