  • Assorted fabric scraps
  • Buttons and other baubles for the yo-yo centers
  • Paper clips in assorted sizes (I purchased the extra-large version used for one of the clips here in the office section at Walmart)
  • 1/2″ circle punch
  • Cardstock
  • Hot glue

To begin, make a number of Fabric yo-yo’s using the fabric scraps and the  buttons and other items you gathered for use as the yo-yo centers

When your yo-yo’s are ready, use the punch to cut out 2 circles from the cardstock. Apply a generous dab of hot glue to the center of one of the circles, affixing the narrow end of one of the paperclips to the circle, as shown……and then position the remaining circle so it is precisely aligned with the bottom one to form a little “sandwich” of sorts: circle, clip, circle. You’ve just created a handy little surface where you can easily mount your yo-yo! Fix…
