Summer at the Library

This Summer like many other Libraries we decided to do our Summer Reading program a little different :

I started out making packet for the kids to log reading time and some fun games to play. As well as weekly Facebook post with read a long books ,games and crafts to make. This week it’s all Magic Treehouse books:

  A castle with a secret passage! That’s what Jack and Annie find when the Magic Tree House whisks them back to the Middle Ages for another wild adventure. In the Great Hall of the castle, a feast is under way. But Jack and Annie aren’t exactly welcome guests!

Some fun Activities :

Paper Plate Dragon

Supplies and Directions ;

1 paper plate (cut in half)

Scissors,Paint and Glue

Stick (handle)

Start by cutting paper plate in half. I piece is the dragon body – the other half cut wings ,tail and head. Paint and attach with glue or staples, Add the handle and let your Dragon soar. Lisa
