What is the Best time for Kinnaur Kailash trek?

The best time would be from September and October. The weather remains pleasant for trekking and the valley is not very cold.

In summers the trekking generally starts in May only but you could find yourself surrounded by thick layers of snow and glaciers. While it all looks very alluring the trekking becomes extremely bad.

I would not suggest doing Kinnaur Kailash trek in Monsoons. The whole Himachal receives very high rainfall and a lot of erosion is going around in hills at this time. You will find yourself stuck here and will not also be able to complete your journey.

Kinnaur Kailash receives very heavy snowfall in Winters. The winters remain a very tough time here so winters are also not a great time for Kinnaur Kailash trek.

How is the Experience?

Have you ever seen something magical? You don’t believe it until it happens to you. The same happened to me. Kinnaur Kailash is about the experience. It truly feels you are connected to the supreme being. Even if you are not here for a religious tour the serene landscape will impress you. You will be stunned by the sheer beauty this place has and how on the earth is this place even possible.

Going into some of the remotest villages of India and then trekking around the Himalayas tells you how people are way more connected there. We feel blessed to have taken this extremely tiring, very tough yet mesmerizing trek. All the place throughout this journey feels surreal and the experience here is simply blissful. I would highly recommend taking on this adventurous Kinnaur Kailash trek and feel alive.
