As the winter grows colder and the snow continues coming, there sadly isn’t much to report on the weekly update this week..

We ended up getting around a foot and a half of snow this week, and plenty of negative temperatures. The worst part about this, is that the propane machine at my job keeps busting in these negative temperatures, bur manager still wants us to go out there and fill tanks up. Even though the machine keeps breaking and spraying propane everywhere, who cares about the employee’s well-being when there is money to be made, right?

And speaking of work, it really sucks right now! My job is cutting everyone’s hours, and it’s messing with our income-based housing! I’m making a lot less than I’m supposed to be making, but still paying as if I have that money. My fiancé and I are desperately hoping that we can find a house soon, but it’s not looking too good at the moment, as people have stopped putting houses up for sale for the time-being. We are told that more houses will pop up in the Spring, but the prices will also increase then as well. So that’ll be fun..

Thankfully, these cold winter days make for a good excuse to stay inside, curl up with a good Book or movie, and just relax. I have been reading the book ‘Everything Everything‘ the past few days and I’ve been hooked! I also just finished binge watching the BBC version of ‘Pride and Prejudice‘ (ironically, because it was mentioned in the book ‘Everything Everything‘, I had to watch it). I must say that both were amazing stories to watch/read. I haven’t felt like I’ve had much time to read lately, but it was really nice to sit down with a good book and just lose myself in it.
