First of all, I hope everyone is doing okay and safe during this rough time It feels like the world stopped but you can still take action and be productive!

So, most of us are stuck at home doing nothing because of quarantine… I thought what a great idea to grow my blog! But how can you grow your blog Traffic during quarantine?

If you’re a blogger the best thing to do right now is obviously to work harder and grow your blog since pretty much everyone is on Social Media more than usual. It’s the best time to reach a bigger audience and boost your blog during this quarantine.

Here are some ideas+tips to help you boost your blog traffic! I hope this will motivate you to get more done since we have a lot of free time

1/Improve your blog!

You could start improving your blog by for example changing your theme, changing a little bit the designs!

It’s the best time to work harder on your blog!

Here are some ideas to help you improve your blog:

• Update your plugins
• Install the last version of WordPress if you haven’t
• Try to find different images to use on your blog
• Change your theme/update it, update your branding
• Re-visit your old blog posts and try to improve them

2/Produce more content

One of the best ways to boost your blog traffic is to produce more content too! Share and engage with your audience!

Take action:

• Write more blog post
• Create graphics to share your content on social media
• Write to your email list
• Think about diversifying your content: try to turn your written content into a podcast or videos for YouTube for example
• Try to create a physical/digital product you can sell

3/Invest for your blog, educate yourself more about blogging to improve your blog

As a blogger, we always have to learn new things, understand new algorithms, etc… So why not investing a little bit to improve your blog and get some knowleged!

If you’re a blogger you probably know that there are different ways to monetize your content… so why not trying something new to diversify your income streams! If you’d like to try different ways to monetize your blog I suggest you read this blog post.

For example, if you only monetize your blog with ads you can try to implement affiliate marketing to diversify your income.

You can also try to reach out to brand and land your first sponsored post if haven’t done one yet!

Maybe you can even try to create a second blog in a different niche!

So, during this rough time the best solution to make more money with your blog is to create and sell digital products like planners, templates, etc… why? Because it doesn’t require shipping any product since it’s digital so you don’t have to worry about the coronavirus

For example I’m working on creating Pinterest templates. Then I’ll sell them on my blog (as you can see it’s a digital product).

6/ Engage with your audience, your readers+ be on social media

My last tip is to engage more with your audience, your readers. Connecting, replying and interacting with them is really important and you should not miss on that!

You can take more time replying to their comments on your blog, on your social media or even answer questions by emailing your readers! Take the time to do this daily

Another way to connect with your audience is to asking them questions and this can be really useful! For example, you could ask them what blog post they would like to see from you next…like that you’ll be sure your readers will love your content because you’re answering THEIR questions, issues.

You need to create content that your audience will LOVE!

Also, make sure to be active on social media and post regularly!
