The Indian Railways have recently announced that they would introduce a new Vande Bharat Express Train from Howrah to Ranchi by next year. Recently, the train route has been approved by the Railway Board. It would be the third Vande Bharat Express train that would be running in the country. It would connect Howrah and the capital of Jharkhand i.e Ranchi.

The train would take only 4 hours to reach Ranchi from Howrah. It’d leave at about 8 AM from Howrah and reach Ranchi at 12:55 PM. During the return journey, it would leave at about 3:20 PM from Ranchi and reach Howrah by 8:10 PM. It would cover a distance of 403 kilometers in just 4 hours 55 minutes. It would run at a speed of 130 kilometers per hour.

The train, during its journey, would cover places like Kustaur, Muri, Anara, Mohanpur, Dankuni, and Andal. The train would be equipped with several advanced facilities like a centralized coach monitoring system, emergency evacuation facilities, automatic entry-exit doors with sliding footsteps, a mini pantry, and modular bio-toilets, etc.
