The State bank of India has recently launched a portal that would help Pensioners to submit their life certificates only by making a video call. The new service would be offered completely free of cost. The facility would be made available to all pensioners who have subscribed to their service. However, it wouldn’t be available to family pensioners.

All the pensioners who use to receive their pension from SBI would have to log on to the portal: www.pensionseva.sbi Therefore, they have to follow a certain process to submit their life certificate via video calling. All the subscribers would be allowed to choose a time of their convenience to schedule interaction with an SBI official. Therefore, through the virtual meeting, all the formalities of life certificate submission would be completed.

All the pensioners who would like to subscribe to the service have been asked to keep their PAN Card ready at the time of the video calling. It would be required for the identification of the pensioner. After the successful completion of the entire process, the subscriber would be sent an SMS as confirmation.
