The income tax department has recently raided the houses of two of the top celebrities of Bollywood on allegations of Tax Evasion. The department has claimed that they have found evidence of tax evasion against the accused during the raids. The raid was made in the House of Bollywood actress Tapasee Pannu and her company director and Bollywood producer Anurag Kashyap.

The IT department, in an official statement, has mentioned that they have found discrepancies in deals worth Rs 300 crores. Evidence of cash receipts by the leading actress amounting to Rs 5 crore has been recovered.

The IT officials recently questioned the two regarding the case in a hotel in Pune where they were shooting for a film. The IT officials had questioned them for several hours. A few days later, they had raided their houses to find some of the pieces of evidence of their tax evasion.
