My New Paranormal WIP

For years I devoted my time and energy to the POX, my first novel which I began to write in June 2019 and finally publishing June 2023, Father’s Day to be exact. My next Book is well under way as I am already at 70k words and I anticipate this book will be a lot of shorter then my first book that started at about at over 340 pages, taking a couple of years to wattle it down. Its out and now available on Amazon and Barnes and Noble but looking to make it a physical book later this year.

As of late I have been working on my newest book with the hopes of finishing the 1st draft soon currently being called “The Menagerie” . I would label this book as a paranormal mystery that takes place in an circus. There is

urder, mayhem, demons, Mysticism. This book is very much more personal to me because of my love for the circus, but also having it take place in Los Angeles in the 70s and 80’s. You could say what inspired this piece was my love for the forgotten circus and when the circus was an actual circus and add there are Freaks galore.

For those who have read my “Life in the Circus” Series you will see that profiles on freaks originated. Although this novel is not specifically focused on the freaks, it does have them, but there are other origins of this story especially when it comes to the paranormal, dealing with spirits, demons, Native American mysticism.

At this point I am unsure of what the ending will be, but I often think about that, especially when I spend time alone, walking ideas come, storylines are created as I write this story in pieces with no predefined storylines.

I will keep you all up to date on my deeper dive into the paranormal, hopefully bringing some originality to my new novel. Stay tuned.
