Is Fortnite still playable on iOS and Android devices after it was thrown out of the Apple and Google app stores.
As you have heard by now Fortnite was booted out after Epic added in-app payment system that enabled players to bypass Google and Apple and pay them directly for in-game purchases which meant that both of them wouldn’t get their 30% cut from all the items that were purchased in the game. This violated their app store policies and hence the ban.

iOS
For those who don’t have Fortnite already installed on their iOS devices there isn’t a way to download and install this from App Store because of Apple’s ban. However those who have it installed can continue to play Fortnite but it won’t be updated. So you are stuck with the latest version on iOS which is the 13.40 update that has content from Chapter 2 Season 3 and you won’t have access to Season 4. If you uninstall it you are out of luck so don’t do that.
Android
On Android devices you can continue to play the latest version of Fortnite installed but won’t be able to update it through Google Playstore. However because Android is open source compared to iOS there are ways in which you can still update Epic’s flagship game. Use Epic’s website to download the latest Fortnite update in order to access and play the most recent content on Android including season 4. Head over to Samsung Galaxy Store if you own a Samsung device to grab the latest update for this game.
So is Fortnite still playable on iOS and Android devices ? Yes for all those who have this game installed.
