Irregular blog timing

Sometimes it becomes a big issue that causes blogs not indexed. Having irregular timing of blog updating not gets value from the crawler.

Did you ever observe that a regular blog posting sites which are regularly updating a post, they are not facing any indexing issue? On the other hand, which are scheduling their blog post in a week or a month, those are facing problems with indexing.

Missing Canonical tag or problem

The Canonical Tag also can be a reason your blog not indexing in Google.

What is Canonical tag

A canonical tag is an HTML code that puts in the header section of the page, and this tag tells the search engine that this page’s content is unique and individual.

So, after many updates of Google, it’s clearly shown that how much crucial part is the canonical tag.

In this above HTML code, you can see the write way of the canonical tag.

So, if you are not aware of that then, you can put this code into your header part of your website so can search engine will better understand the content is unique and also help to index the blog.

Check Robots.txt before going ahead

Robots.txt is the first part where the crawler goes and finds which page, category, and content you want to index and which one is noindex.

Suppose any website owner doesn’t want to show their admin panel, C-panel, in the search result. So, in this case, they used tags that hints search engine to no index this particular pages, but sometimes we used tags for content noindex, and we still don’t aware of that.

So, before going to index your blog post, make sure to check this type of tags in below.

If you have this code in your robots, that means this prevents to crawl your blogs.

Sitemap submission

In some cases, it happens you submitted your blog post to the index, and it took several weeks and months, but the blog is not indexed.

So it can happen because the sitemap could not be read by Google. Yes, it quite common but need to solve it.

If you are complete with all these points I mention above, then you are ready to index your blog with the help of the Google webmaster tool.

• First, go to your webmaster tool dashboard.
• Find the Url inspection option.
• Test the live URL, and if everything is found, then it will show you as shown you in the below image.

• After successfully process this stage, you will get the Request indexing option on the right side, as shown in this below image.

This option will help you to index your blog post within 24 hours. Still, everything was fine, but blog not indexing then do this simple method.

Copy your blog post sitemap URL and go to your sitemap section in the webmaster tool.

After going there, simply resubmit your post sitemap so it will help to index the process fast.
