When you want to start a blog and earn money from it there are a few tough decisions you need to make in order to be successful.
The most important one is obviously choosing a niche for your blog.
If you choose something that’s too competitive or something you have no idea about then you’re probably going to fail.
To help you with making a decision I’ve prepared a big blog niche list with 99 ideas.
These are both big and small niches and I hope you’ll find something for you. (PRO TIP: If you feel that a particular niche from the list is too competitive feel free to dive deeper into the subject)

How I Evaluate These Blog Niches
Well, to tell whether a niche is any good we need to look at some statistics like search volume, keyword difficulty, and trends.
Besides that, we’ll need to assess the earning potential.
When it comes to search volume and keyword difficulty I’ll use Keysearch.
Keysearch uses 0-100 (0 being the easiest) metrics to tell whether a Keyword is easy or hard to rank for.
Obviously, I’m not going to check all of the keywords for a niche.
I’ll only check the broad ones so their competition level can be a bit higher than we’d normally aim for as new sites usually target low-competition keywords.
However, when a keyword has a higher search volume you can usually expect to find more sub-niches and more low-competition keywords so don’t give up on a niche when it seems difficult!
The last thing is the trend.
To check the trend (from last 12 months) we’ll use Google Trends and when it comes to evaluating the earning potential I’ll list the most popular monetization methods in a particular niche.
Remember one thing: at this point, in 2020, there are not niches without competition and whatever you choose you’ll have to fight for visitors.
Having said that, good niche research is super important so as soon as you choose something just make sure to dive deeper and check everything about that topic.
