A seating area that is good enough to hit a conversation or television viewing. You can create a work area with a table and desk for projects. A lot of people prefer visual weight and distribution to balance out a space. So, consider what you prefer. The key to designing are scale and proportion.

The bottom line when you remodel or decorate your home is knowing your preferences. Think about what you like. It is more like peeping within yourself to dig more. Question what you like? Remodeling is about you and no other person can tell you what is best for your home.
