A mum has prepared a special ‘golden’ lunchbox for her son’s Birthday, packed with a Lobster Wrap, golden biscuits and macaroons alongside a gold can of sparkling water with a straw.
Nathan, from the US, was proud of his wife’s luxurious creation and shared an image of the lunchbox to a popular Facebook group.
Two small bows were also stuck on the inside of the son’s lunchbox for an added birthday surprise.
But Nathan didn’t reveal how she turned the utensils and can gold, leaving some parents concerned.

‘I wanted to show you guys the 24K gold lunch my wife made for our son’s golden birthday,’ Nathan wrote.
‘She made him a shrimp and lobster wrap and made sure to include gold everything. She even painted his sparkling water gold.’
In the comments he explained what exactly a ‘golden birthday’ is after a woman asked.
‘It’s when your age matches the day of the month you were born,’ he said.
For example, if you’re born on the first of the month than your golden birthday is your first birthday, or if you’re born on the 23rd of the month than it’s your 23rd birthday.

‘Hope she didn’t use spray paint,’ one woman wrote, but another replied: ‘I think that’s why the straw is included.’
It’s likely the mum simply purchased the products for her son’s birthday, as hardware supplies and food should never be combined.
