Vicki Gunvalson got into ‘major fight’ over vaccines on Housewives spin-off

RHOC’s Vicki Gunvalson got into ‘major fight’ with Dorinda Medley over not being vaccinated while filming ‘insane’ Real Housewives spin-off

The second season of Bravo’s The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip is set to premiere some time over the new few months.

And according to cast member Tamra Judge, the first major drama of the season centered on Vicki Gunvalson not getting the Covid-19 jab.

‘The first big fight was Vicki not being vaccinated,’ Tamra told the Unpopular podcast earlier this week.

‘That was really a fight, it was a FIGHT,’ she added, hinting that the clash involved RHONY’s Dorinda Medley and RHOBH’s Brandi Glanville, who are both staunchly pro-vaccine.

Tamra also shared that Dorinda was the cause of a lot of the conflict during filming.

‘There was definitely one cast member that picked a fight every single day,’ she said, referring to Dorinda.

‘Or I should say every night, after cocktails,’ she clarified, before adding: ‘But thank god for her because it really made good TV.’

The Real Housewives of Orange County veteran also said she’d, ‘never seen anything like it before’ in her entire life.

‘I get into it with Brandi and Dorinda, Vicki gets into it with everybody, it’s insane,’ she said.

‘I had a good time, but by day eight I was like. “Get me the f**k outta here”.’

Tamra also shared that the series was filmed ‘Big Brother style’ with cameras stationed all over the house in addition to having the regular camera crews that are used by Bravo.

The highly anticipated spin-off was filmed on location in the Berkshires at Dorinda’s home, Bluestone Manor.

In addition to Dorinda, Tamra, Vicki, and Brandi, the season also stars RHOA’s Phaedra Parks and Eva Marcille, RHOBH’s Taylor Armstrong, and RHONY’s Jill Zarin.

Page Six previously reported on the vaccine bust-up, claiming that Vicki was at the center of the drama due to her refusal to get the jab.

‘She wouldn’t stop fighting about the shot and really got into it with Dorinda,’ Page Six reported in September.

‘Vicki told Dorinda that everyone who got the vaccine is going to die.’

‘I feel everyone should have the right to make their own decision’: Vicki previously told Page Six that she is ‘not anti-vax’ but did confirm that she clashed with Dorinda over the jab

In a statement to Page Six at the time, Vicki said that she’s ‘not anti-vax’ and that her conversation with Dorinda related to a friend of hers that she believes suffered a side effect from the jab.

‘I feel everyone should have the right to make their own decision,’ she said.

‘Unfortunately COVID is still a real threat whether you are vaccinated or not, but I never said the Housewives would die from receiving the vaccine.’

Season two of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip is rumoured to premiere in the next few months.

The first season is currently available to stream on Peacock in the US and on hayu in Australia.
