•And We Never Turned Back•

Classes gone, days end,
We all promised to stay friends.

Miles apart, Contacts saved,
Leaving the calm waters, we all braved.

Some regret, some remorse,
last time we walked through the school corridors.

Stuck in a daydream,
When did we grow up to turn eighteen?

Times Change, So do people
It is time for the flower to leave the sepal.

After some years, when we all meet,
Will the affectionate hug change to a formal greet?

School crushes were so much better,
The very first phrases of a lifelong love letter.

Commitments, gossips and silly fights,
Were they even worthy of those sleepless nights?

Although these memories will never die,
But all that we have today is our last goodbye.
