Chocolate


Chocolate is rated at the highest rank of foods that are toxic to your dogs. Lets decode chocolates first, chocolate contains a substance called methylxanthines that always cause vomiting, diarrhea, increased panting, excessive thirst and urination, hyperactivity (sugar rush), seizures and even death if consumed in large quantities. What about dark chocolate? Don't even ask because dark chocolate has a higher content of methylxanthines than white chocolate which results in a more adverse effect. 

Raw Meat


Just as you were eating your steak, you realized that one of the steak was undercooked. You wanted to throw it down the bin but saw your dog sitting beside the bin. Out of pity, you decide to give it to your dog. NOOOOOO STOPPPP!!!!! Raw meat is just as bad as stale meat for your dog. They contain two types of bacteria known as Salmonella and E.Coli that can affect your pooch's health.

Salt


Just like humans, salt can cause excessive thirst and urination in your dogs. In some cases, dogs can even be prone to be diagnosed with sodium ion poisoning. You may want to be looking out for these signs:
  • Vomiting
  • Diarrhea
  • Depression
  • Tremors
  • Seizures
  • High Body Temperature
If you have detected one of these signs, then it's most likely that your dog has been ingesting salt knowingly or unknowingly. Quickly rush to the vet to be consulted. If the conditions are left untreated, it can be deadly.

Grapes


Till now, the toxic substance in grapes have not been recognized yet. However, several cases shows that dogs that consume grapes are diagnosed with kidney failure that sometimes lead to death. The toxic in grapes can affect dog from any breed, age and gender. Even small amounts of grapes can be fatal to your dog just as same as the whole grape.

Nuts


Nuts consist of almond, cashew and ground nuts. You might be asking,'which nut in exact can I not feed my dog'. Not to disappoint you, but all the nuts are fatal and highly toxic for your doggie. Nuts are very fatty, this makes it difficult to be digested by your dog in large quantities. Besides, fatty foods can pose a bigger threat because they exceed the capability of a dog's pancreas to break them down. This condition is commonly referred to as pancreatitis. Pancreatitis can be treated if diagnosed at an early stage but can cause severe organ and brain damage if left untreated.
