In addition, to being able to make your own hours, there isn’t any upfront cost associated with being a door dash driver.
The application process was also super easy. Once you signup and your background check are completed, the company will send you gear in the mail.
The gear will consist of a hot bag to keep your customer’s food hot. As well as a prepaid card, to pay for your orders.
It’s easy money, and you can get paid daily once you have completed over 25 deliveries.

How Much Does Door Dash Pay Their Drivers?
If you look online you will find conflicting information about the amount Door Dash pays their drivers.
This is because it depends upon the order and the amount of the tip from the customer.
Typically I would make around $6.00 to $7.00 per order. If you were to get a three $6.00 orders per hour then, that would equate to $18.00 per hour.
Which is decent pay, but you have to factor in your fuel cost. Because as a door dash driver you will be driving your own vehicle to deliver these orders.

Final Thoughts
Being a door dash driver is a good way to make some extra cash. The pay isn’t always the greatest depending upon the order. But overall you can easily earn a $600 or more per week, depending upon how many hours your work.
