Do you know that Sex and the City and Ghostbusters, they have scenes that took place in Bryant Park, New York?
Yes, they do.
And, although Bryant Park is not as humongous as Central Park. It is actually very relaxed and green.
It is located just behind the New York Public Library, nearby the fabulous Fifth Avenue and couple of blocks from New York Times Square. Every morning there are some food stalls opens for breakfast from coffee to Belgian waffle. And, if you up for tennis table or tai chi, you can practice there too.
Don’t be surprised that there will be few eccentric homeless people around the park. And, couple of multi-millionaire sit or walk by the park too. How ironic life can be sometimes.
It’s a weekend mode in Madison Avenue, the street was still empty though it’s already past 8am in the morning.
Took a “few” photos in front of the New York Public Library. One side of the wall has a carving of a Romanian number that has already been there since 1902.
We walked around the park before settling what we are going to have for breakfast. And, green and peaceful as the sun rays sneaked in to the trees.
So, we decided to get Belgian waffles for breakfast. He got the one with vanilla ice cream on top. Yummy! And, I got one with bacon and maple syrup, back then it was illegal to mixed those with waffle in its origin country. 😳
One of the fancy place to eat in the neighborhood.
The statue of Sir Bryant who donated the land to become the Bryant Park.
A glimpse of New York Times Square – theater heaven.
I think I don’t mind to live surrounded by these awesome places. 😎
What is your dream city to live in? And why?
