"I am 8 Years Experienced, but my company is replacing me with 3 newbies to cut down my finance! Hey, I am 6 years experienced too but I feel, my work isn`t appreciated. Hey! I have worked day and night, leaving my family, for my project to get accepted and when we were successful in it, my company threw me out citing my negatives, in spite of all the work I put in.."
Sounds familiar ?? We have all been and some still are a victim of such events.
From the time we wake up each morning, all we do is RUN, RUN and RUN. And why do we RUN - Nobody knows! What are we achieving from RUNNING - A Minuscule Reward!
Like this, people have always been running from one place to another, one level to another spending years and years to achieve that "Decent Reward". And by the time they are happy about it, they RETIRE! (Funny right ... )
I was always intrigued with this thought. Let me ask you now!
I guess, most of us are still young (for some, at-least in their minds). We still have the energy to work harder and smarter. Some of us lead a team, some of us are mentors, social workers, writers, singers, artists and so on.... Now, when we have these talents within ourselves, and when we have successful people who motivate us to be Leaders and make a change, why are we still a slave to our fears. Why are we still doing what we are doing? Why cant we be one like them? Why cant we really strive to be the one? WHY CANT WE BE OUR "OWN BOSS"?
I posed this question to a gentlemen recently. And he quoted -
"Own boss ? You mean an Entrepreneur ? But I don`t have a brain like them. I cannot make such decisions. What if I get rejected everywhere. What if I cannot be a driving force for my people, what would happen to my family if I become a failure. What if I do not earn the peanuts I am earning now."
I replied - But, what if you surpass your own expectations, what if the world looks up to you for making decisions, what if you become the driving force of the world and not just for your people, what if you could give your family the lifestyle they have never imagined. What if you become influential and powerful. What if.........
In that case, are these "peanuts" still worth it Sir.. ? (Silence Prevailed)
