CORPORATE NONSENSE…

I used to have a proper job,

or at least I was told it was.

The corporate environment,

a place where nonsense reigns.

Everyone rats in a race,

hamsters turning their wheel.

A few might know what it’s for,

but most just dance in the dark.

~

Not their fault of course,

being what ‘they’ want them to be.

Pawns in someone else’s game,

actors playing supporting roles.

~

There’s a language all of its own,

virtually impossible to learn.

Top down approach, take it offline,

ping me and I’ll buzz you right back.

A difficult world to escape,

values might need to be changed.

Materiel things now beyond reach,

but quality of life is improved.
