Hamsters…

So what the dickens are Hamsters?

Well, since you asked….

They’re rodents named after a sandwich.

Could easily of been Cheeseters,

or Tuna Mayosters,

maybe even Egg and Cressters.

But they’re none of those,

they’re Hamsters.

~

If I was a Hamster,

I’d wear a t shirt every day.

On it would be the slogan,

Hamster and proud.

~

And they’ve a lot to be proud of.

~

They invented the wheel.

Over the top acting.

A two way radio system.

The ground meat patty.

Also founded the Scottish Football Team,

Hamilton Academicals,

or at least the clever ones did.

~

So that’s what a Hamster is.
