Rip Ned Dubofsky: Fellow Winaukee Alum Announces Death, Age 54

Ned Dubofsky, a graduate of Camp Winaukee, apparently died on Thursday, February 9, 2023. He was 54 years of age at the hour of his destruction. The insight about his passing was declared in a post on the Winaukee 100 Facebook bunch. It was set up to praise the 100th commemoration of Camp Winaukee. Ned Dubofsky supposedly lost his life in a mishap. Death announced by fellow Winaukee alum

“Rest in peace,” reads Mario Watson’s post in the Winaukee 100 Facebook group. “Heartbroken over this news.” Camp Winaukee is an annual sportsmanship and community camp for boys aged seven aged 15. It takes place on Lake Winnipesaukee – hence the name – in New Hampshire.

The post has since picked up several dozen reactions, and comments describing the news as “very sad” and “a tragedy.” “Saddened to hear about passing othe f Ned,” one writes. “So, so many fond memories and laughs.” The Facebook user, apparently a camp leader rather than one of Dubofsky’s peers, says they would “get him so mad when we told him he could not ski” – only to let him ski and look forward to “do thdoingsame routine” the next day.

His wife Lindsay and daughter Casey survive him

Ned Evan Dubofsky married Lindsay Alyson Marks on January 22, 2005. They recently celebrated their 18th wedding anniversary. His wife is seven years his junior. At the time of their marriage, she worked in New York as the coordinator of public relations and marketing for Ralph Lauren Home. He ran an insurance brokerage in Jericho, New York. Dubofsky went to George Washington University.

His marriage to Lindsay Marks was his second; his first ended in divorce. Their daughter Casey, age either 16 or 17 at the time of publication, is the driving force behind the nonprofit Safe Eats. She is severely allergic to tree nuts and fish. The organisation aims to recruit restaurants from across Nassau County to opt into a program that trains staff members in using EpiPens.

Apart from that, several Facebook users took to the comments section of Mario Watson’s post and shared their memories with Dubofsky. While one person shared a group photo with Ned inside the bunk, others expressed sadness on hearing the news.
