Ned Evan Dubofsky married Lindsay Alyson Marks on January 22, 2005. They recently celebrated their 18th wedding anniversary. His wife is seven years his junior. Dubofsky went to George Washington University.

His marriage to Lindsay Marks was his second; his first ended in divorce. Their daughter Casey, age either 16 or 17 at the time of publication, is the driving force behind the nonprofit Safe Eats.
