Natally Garcia had been working at Mesquite ISD, allegedly allowing students to Fight inside the classroom. She also asked a student to stand near the door to stop if someone entered the class. Due to this reason, the Texas police arrested her based on Child Endangerment Allegations.

On April 12, 2023, there was a fight between students inside the classroom at the Kimbrough Middle School in Mesquite, North Texas. After getting the report, it was understood that the Substitute Teacher was behind this problem.

The substitute teacher, Garcia, has worked at the Mesquite Independent School District since March 6. Then the district conveyed that the incident happened on Wednesday, April 12, 2023.

About The Statement of Mesquite ISD

Based on the statement of Mesquite ISD, Garcia is the reason behind this fight between students. She just encouraged through her words to fight the students in the classroom and also asked another student to monitor near the classroom door during the fight.

One of the students’ mothers even recorded the incident using her phone. Her mother informed the media about this fight recorded by her 13-year-old daughter. Even in the video, the substitute teacher, Garcia, asked the students not to record this incident but instead to monitor them near the door. In the same video, the students fight in such a way that they throw punches between them.

Based on the student’s mother, Martinez’s report, it was unacceptable to watch the video and even disgusting. After seeing the video records, the district fired her immediately from the job and even blacklisted her name. So, she couldn’t go for the job in other places in the future.

Video Evidence & Arrest of Garcia

Mesquite police informed the public that they would arrest the teacher, Garcia, soon after getting a video of the fight incident. Investigators even find out that Garcia is the reason behind four students getting bodily injuries.

When you consider the video recorded by Martinez’s daughter, the video comes as the witness to Garcia’s act. She said, “I don’t want this fight on record.” Garcia also said, “Anyone can go and stand by the door and hold the door shut if someone tries to come inside the class.”

In such a video, two fights happen, one between two girls and the other between two boys. The substitute teacher was watching those fights and encouraging them.

After watching this video, the middle school immediately fired her. Since this video affected most parents whose children are studying at this middle school, Garcia got arrested and jailed.

Currently, Garcia is facing 4 counts of child endangerment. After watching and reviewing the video, the investigators understood that Garcia was the reason for putting four students’ lives in danger of bodily injuries. And thus, she got arrested for putting her in jail for committing such a big crime. At present, Garcia is in jail and getting punished for what she did for school children.
