An Earlier Survey Indicates That the Majority of Americans Approve of Access to Abortion Pills

A February Ipsos poll found that 62% of Americans believe that prohibiting medical abortion would harm women and their families. The EMAA Project, which stands for Expanding Medication Abortion Access, commissioned the poll.

Additionally, party differences in support for medication abortion access were discovered in this poll, which surveyed a sample of more than 1,000 American people. While 67% of independents and 49% of Republicans said abortion pills should still be permitted in the U.S., 84% of Democrats agreed.
