Role of Mandy Moore in Dr. Death Season 2

Mandy Moore will play the character of investigative journalist Benita Alexander. Benita will finally fall in love with Paolo Macchiarini before knowing the ultimate truth about him. 

Season 2 will revolve around the prowess of Macchiarini. He is called the “miracle man”. Indeed, he earned this title with his innovations. In fact, you will also experience his descent from glory. Thus, season 2 focuses both on his capabilities and grandeur and his fall. When investigative journalist Benita asks for a story on Macchiarini her life changes. Indeed, her life becomes more and more perplexing. This is because the dividing lines between her personal and professional life tend to blur. 

We see Macchiarini spending much time hiding his secrets. Thus, the revelation is obvious that he cares very little about anything except himself. 

About Dr. Death

Dr. Death draws its inspiration from the terrifying true story of Dr. Christopher Duntsch. In the Texas medical community he happens to be a young and charismatic star. Indeed, he has established a flourishing neurosurgery practice. However, we see things suddenly changing. Indeed, patients who step inside Dr. Dunstsch’s operating room for complex but routine spinal surgeries take their departures being permanently disabled. In some cases, they end up dying. As his victims accumulate in number, two fellow physicians and Dallas prosecutor Michelle Shughart venture out to stop him. 

About Christopher Daniel Duntsch 

He is an erstwhile American neurosurgeon. Indeed, he ends up maiming several patients’ spines and falls responsible for two deaths while working at hospitals in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. In fact, before the Texas Medical Board revokes his license he falls prey to the accusation of injuring 33 out of 38 patients in less than two years. In 2017, he was found guilty of maiming one of his patients. Thus, he faced life imprisonment.
