How do you get different fonts on Instagram?

Instagram has always been a place of entertainment and source to show people’s talent and beauty. Not only through the Instagram posts, but also through its stories, users get a chance to show their beauty. But does the photo alone make the stories beautiful or attractive? The answer to this question is ‘NO’. Filters and some texts are needed to be added when a person puts on an Instagram story.

Filters are available by just sliding the effects when you post a story on the social media platform but for text, there are many different options. Different options have a different, Font style, font Colour, and font size. Here we will discuss, How do you get different fonts on Instagram, and how to make your Instagram story different and glamouring

1. Set a solid background for your text to pop

When you put a sequence of stories many times it is connected with the previous one. So here we choose a solid background so that the written text is visible to the viewers.

  • Take a picture or select a picture from your Photo Library.

  • Click on the drawing pencil icon.

  • Hover over your colour choice.

  • Tap your finger and hold it. The background will change to a solid, monochrome colour.

  • Write a call to action or a brief note.

2. Choose a colour for your text from the colour collection

Instagram offers 27 different colours palette. But by using this basic colour palette we use almost all colour in the world.

  • Click on the Drawing Pen Icon.

  • Touch on any colour and hold your finger. Within a second, a bigger palette pops up.

  • Keeping your finger tight on the screen, move it side to side until you pick the colour you like.

3. Change your font size

Font size is important to show your text in a different size to make it important and more attractive like if we want to convey some serious or important message, font size should be set to a larger size as it matters to catch viewer’s eye.

  • Tap on the text whose size you want to change

  • And then by holding it zoom in to make it look big and zoom out to make it smaller

4. Change your font style

To make your story little attractive you use font styles. And sometimes it depends on the message you want to show your viewers. According to this, we use a different font style. Instagram officially offers nine different fonts. There are some fonts named classic typewriter, neon, strong, modern and many more

How you use fonts:

  • Click on the story and then write something

  • There are nine different fonts that appear at the top of your keyboard

  • Click on desired font style and your font will be changed and then click OK

5. Invisible your hashtags

Using this feature you get more activity on your story and what you think, if we say ‘You use hashtags and make it invisible’?
So, yes that is possible by these steps-

  • Select the photo.

  • Type a hashtag.

  • Position it on a corner with a solid background.

  • Highlight the hashtag as text.

  • Tap on the drawing pen icon.

  • Drag the pen across the screen, as close to the background of the hashtag as possible, until the hashtag matches that background.

Your hashtag will get invisible.

6. Use your picture colour palette

Sometimes there are some colours we want to use as same as there in the picture, so we can choose it from the picture we use in our story.

  • Select the picture to post and determine the word you want to write.

  • Click the text icon (“Aa”) in the top right corner.

  • Type the first letter of the word. (Only the fonts labelled strong, classic, or typewriter allow for backgrounds to be added.)

  • Add that background to the letter by clicking on the icon on the top left corner.

  • Click the drawing pen icon to see the tool pop up.

  • Move the tool around the photo to see the background of the letter change.

  • Once you select the background colour for the first letter, move on to the next and the next until the word is complete.

7. Bring 3-dimensional effect to your text on the story

Today’s generation loves 3-dimensional movies and 3-dimensional effects. So we use the 3-dimensional font to bring a realistic feel to our story.

  • Click on that drawing pen icon.

  • Tap the word (or the sentence) in one of the offered fonts.

  • Select the colour and place the text where it belongs on the image.

  • Write the same word (or sentence) in the same font in a different colour.

  • Place it on top of the first word slightly to the side so you can see the original text.

Here are the ways that may help you, when you next put up a story on Instagram.
