TDP boss N Chandrababu Naidu met and appealed to AP Governor Biswabhushan Harichandan to take action against the Jaganmohan Reddy government for abetting the suicide of former Speaker Kodela Sivaprasada Rao. Naidu submitted the documents and details of false cases filed by the ruling YCP leaders, Assembly Secretary and AP Police. He told Governor that Jagan Regime and Sakshi media have been indulging in character assassination against rival leaders.
Naidu said that Kodela was a senior leader who served as Assembly Speaker for five years, as MLA for 30 years and as Minister for 12 years. Despite his political seniority, the non-bailable cases under section 409 of IPC were filed against Kodela. Governor assured to take possible action within his powers.
Naidu is taking forward his agitation. Private cases are being filed against the police officers and AP Police Officers Association for causing death of Kodela. Cases will also be filed against MP Vijayasai Reddy and other leaders for causing mental agony leading to Kodela Suicide.
