Nowadays Social discrimination in our society has pushed our development backwards. People are of two beliefs: Liberals and Orthodox. Orthodoxies do not see the flexibility of people, but they are firm with their ritual practices and beliefs. Generally these are the people of old thinking, old age and do not find interests of people. These orthodox people are also called radials which still exist in our society. They are there from the beginning of the mankind. Illegal social practices also exist in our societies.

Women have no facility of education, sanitary and many more things. The targets of these orthodox thinking people are generally women. Regarding this too there are too many social evils such as sati in which wife has to sacrifice her life by burning herself on the funeral of her husband or has to shave off her head, child marriage in which marriage of his/her child is decided with her partner after his birth, killing the girl child which also exists I some states of country India.

Huge sum of money is spent after a person is dead. Many rituals have to be performed by his/her family members on death of any family member. Some rituals also pollute the environment, such as flowing the ashes in the sacred river which causes water pollution. Government has passed several acts regarding these social evils. The other type of people are the liberals which allow the privileges to the youth and the society and are not so harsh followers such as radicals. Some states have such kind of people which grows the GDP and growth rate of the state. Some north eastern states of India are not much developed due to the above mentioned reasons.
