Illiteracy a Social Curse?


Illiteracy has become the major and the worst evil in destructing the society. Since ages people have been taking steps against Illiteracy but it has not been eradicated from this world. We all should have one vision that is this world should be educated and should know what is good for them. There are many disadvantages related to illiteracy so it should be eradicated.

If a person is well educated and well-groomed he/she would have brighter future. If the parents of the child are uneducated or illiterate they would not know the importance of Education and literacy. By education children are not only taught studies but apart from that various extra-curricular activities are also taught such as how to maintain hygiene etc.

Some people do not have money to send their children to school. For that level of people special government schools are made to ensure that everyone gets education. Some night schools are also made for those who go for the work in the morning so that they can study at night. Government has launched so many programmes such as mid-day meal scheme etc. to promote education
Illiteracy a Social Curse?

The main objective to literate the society is to understand them that what is good for them and what is not.
Let’s come together and raise voice against illiteracy and promote literacy.
