The show, which will air at 8 p.m.

ET on Friday nights, will feature Sanders, a former NFL star who now plays for the New York Jets, on the sidelines for NFL games.

ESPN3 will also broadcast the show on Saturday nights.

Sanders, an NFL Hall of Famer who played four seasons with the Saints and won two Super Bowls, announced in April that he was retiring after the 2015 season.

“We are excited to welcome him back to ESPN2 to continue covering NFL football and to give viewers an opportunity to watch a host of NFL games live,” ESPN said in a statement.

Sanders has also previously hosted an NBA game on ESPN3.

“I Am the Walrush,” a special edition of the ESPNU series “Inside The Walrush” in May, was a joint venture between ESPN and ABC.
